These seed pod hats are made from the Seed Pod of the Cabecinegra Palm which grow in the equatorial jungles of South America. They contain fruits which are eaten by the local indigenous people.  These hats are totally environmentally friendly and form a valuable source of income for a poor region of South America. These unique hats are unbelievably light & comfortable and allow your head to breathe as well as look fantastic. Some locals say these hats help ease headaches.

Styles available include witch, scallop trim, straight trim and double stitched. All of these styles have various sized brims. There are also a couple of beanie style hats, great for keeping the ears warm in winter and they also look great on the ski slopes.
